Program Information
Novice 1 and Novice 2
There are two separate training groups that are considered to be "Developmental". Those groups are the Novice 1 and Novice 2.
In Novice 1 and 2, athletes are training 2x a week and pay a "Non-Competitive" registration fee with SwimBC to not compete.
*Note this is not including the summer meets run through BCSSA from May-August - that is a different registration entirely which will open in April of 2025.
Masters
There is one training groups that is considered to be "Masters".
In Masters, athletes are training 1-3x a week and pay a "Masters" registration fee with SwimBC to go to as many swim meets as they are eligible to attend / want to attend.
Teen Rec and Teen Fit
There are two separate training groups that are considered to be "Non-Competitive". Those groups are the Teen Rec and Teen Fit groups.
In both of these groups, athletes are training 2x a week and pay a "Non-Competitive" registration fee with SwimBC.

Novice 3 and AG1
There are two separate training groups that are considered to be "Pre-Competitive" and "Entry to Competitive". Those groups are the AG1 (Age Group 1) and Novice 3.
In AG1, athletes are training 3x a week and pay a "Competitive" registration fee with SwimBC to go to as many swim meets as they are eligible to attend.
In Novice 3, the athletes are training 2x per week and pay a "Pre-Competitive" registration fee with SwimBC which allows them to attend one sanctioned swim meet during the year-long competitive season from September -August.

AG2 and AG3
There are two separate training groups that are considered to be "Competitive". Those groups are the AG2 (Age Group 2) and AG3 (Age Group 3).
In AG2, athletes are training 4x a week and pay a "Competitive" registration fee with SwimBC to go to as many swim meets as they are eligible to attend.
In AG3, the athletes are training 4x-6x per week and pay a "Competitive" registration fee with SwimBC to go to as many swim meets as they are eligible to attend.
