Training Groups & Schedules 


Training "Bundles":

As a club we would like to honour the other sports and hobbies that athletes are passionate about / committed to. Thus, we want to offer "training bundles" this season. This means that at registration athletes can choose particular practice times provided for their age group that work best for them and their schedule. 

Depending on the age group that a swimmer is in, they have the option to choose a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 8 practices options. 

Each age group has a minimum and a maximum practice committment per week. When choosing 2-4 practices per week the cost is $10 per practice. When choosing 5-8 practices per week the cost is $9 per practice.

AG 1:

Age Group 1 (8-12 year olds → 10 group spots):
Option to train 2-3 times a week with hopefully a fourth option being added later in the fall.
This age group will follow the LTAD Learn to Train/ Train to Train model so it is ideal for them to have 2-5 hours of training p/week.

Training options: 2- 3 times a week, pick any 2 of the 3 scheduled options OR pick all 3.

Monthly Training: (monthly fee for every athlete) These fees cover pool costs, coaching costs and helps facilitate meet travel/accommodation costs for coaching staff.

Option to train 2 times a week: $20 per week → $80 per month

Option to train 3 times a week: $30 per week → $120 per month



AG 2:

Age Group 2 (10-16 year olds → 10 group spots):
Option to train 4-7 times a week 

This age group will follow the LTAD Train to Train/Train to Compete model so it is ideal for them to have 5-12 hours of training p/week.

Training options: 4-7 times a week, pick any 4-7 scheduled options below.

Age Group 3 (13+ year olds OR 11+ year olds if returning → 10-15 group spots):
Option to train 4-8 times a week

This age group will follow the LTAD Train to Compete/ Train to Win model so it is ideal for them to have 12-20 hours of training p/week.


Training options: 4-8 times a week, pick any 4-8 scheduled options below.
