Individual Training Plans (ISP)
Individual Success Plan (ISP):
Being a member of WCW comes with certain resources, including the Individual Success Plan (ISP).
Each swimmer (in the Competitive A or B program) is provided with an ISP (Individual Success Plan), this plan outlines a weekly dryland plan, as well as a weekly calendar that tracks nutrition/hydration, mental wellness, strength, and mobility. It is a shared and living document that keeps track of swimmers’ times, and goals.
The ISP can only be seen by the coach, the swimmer, and the swimmer’s parents.
Swimmers are provided with the ISP as a resource that will help them improve and grow, however, it is not mandatory for the swimmer to maintain their ISP, or to do the dryland.
Dryland is done on their own whether at home or at the gym of their choice. Planning for dryland takes into account the resources/equipment that each swimmer has access to.
If your swimmer is having trouble accessing or editing their ISP please contact westcoastwindswimclub@gmail.com
